Cheri (C.B) Mills is a 3rd generation San Diegan. She began painting in 2000 after completing a long career as an executive in the Communications industry and quickly found herself addicted to abstract concepts.
She now spends her time between her studio in San Diego and her studio in San Felipe, Baja California.
Cheri loves color, texture and color blending, producing unique and original art work. Her mediums are watercolor, mixed media, acrylic and collage using paper, yupo support and canvas.
Cheri is a member of the San Diego Watercolor Society and has shown her work at the Showcase Gallery, Point Loma Library, the annual Celebrating Art Exhibit and has received numerous awards in the San Diego County Fair Fine Art Competition. She also attends workshops, has completed commissioned work both here and in Baja(most recently for the Doubletree Hotel in Del Mar) and has done numerous demonstrations for local artists in both San Felipe and San Diego.
